Rules and Car Classing Information |

IMPORTANT NEWS
For the 2009 Season, the MSCC will - with a few exceptions noted below - be using the SCCA's car classing scheme and the portion of their rules that deals with car classing. (Please note: MSCC is not a member of - or affiliated with - the SCCA. Their solo rules, which can be found here, are a copyrighted product of the SCCA.) You should probably take a look at the above link and see how the new classing affects your car.
So far, the exceptions to the SCCA rules are:
1) No tires below 140 treadwear allowed in stock classes.
2) Adoption of our old smst class.
3) There will not be any seperate ladies classes.
4) Karts will follow guidelines set forth by the Central Florida Region of the SCCA. However, rules will be more flexable in terms of engine type, chasis type, etc. Final determination will be made by the Chief Tech Inspector, Events Director, or the Executive Board.
If you have any more specific classing questions, please contact Karel Schneider
The 2009 MSCC rule book is available here. This rulebook is not, however, 100% inclusive; i.e. classing questions will still only be answered from the scca rules book.
